About Me

I am a BACP registered and accredited counsellor with a BA degree in Counselling from Greenwich University. I also have a Foundation degree in Integrative Counselling and a Certificate in Counselling Skills.

I understand how difficult it can be to ask for help and I aim to create a safe, confidential space for you to discuss whatever is on your mind. I see myself as being typically down-to-earth and practical in my approach, and previous clients have described me as a solid, non-judgemental and accepting person.

I use an integrative approach which uses different counselling methods, including Person-centred and Psychodynamic approaches and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), tailored to suit your situation.

My experience suggests that some breakthroughs can be achieved in a relatively short time but am happy to arrange short or longer term work, depending on what seems best for you.

I have experience of working with both men and women in a variety of healthcare and community based settings working face-to-face and also by Telephone or Skype.

I see clients privately as well as in NHS Primary Care where I work mainly with female clients and come from a background of helping men with relationship and divorce issues and child contact problems.
